I love my spike hoops, they look great in my pierced second holes or my gauges! Will most definitely be buying more Rare Romance jewelry. The quality is great, and I love the secure feeling closure of the hoop earrings.

The part of the jewelery that inserts into the ear is flared at the end, making it painful to try and wear. The gauge of that post is also larger than any other earing I own which compounds the issue.

It also appears to be somewhat oblong rather than properly circular, but that's a minor grievence.

While yes I bought this piece on sale, there was zero indication that I would be receiving a B-grade / reject item, which is what seems like happened

my ONLY issue is that they’re alot thinner than they look on the pictures which was kinda disappointing, they feel great tho, hopefully it looks better from other peoples POV. Would recommend just keep in mind they’re not that chunky :/

Piercing looks super mean

I loved the quality and clean look of the earrings that i ordered and the packaging. The only thing is that its kind of hard to unclip and clip the hoop earrings (especially the spiky ones cuz of the design) and one of them I can't wear because I can't get it to clip again. I've sent an email detailing this but got no reply yet (been a few days) about getting a replacement? I would love to change the review to a better one but until then I'll be waiting for a reply please. Thank you. (for details: The spiky hoops are hard to hinge and unhinge esp because of the design so I've resorted to using a towel to clip it back on but one of the ones i've recieved seems to be especially hard and I can't wear it due to being unable to clip it. )

I thought it was large it’s hard to get on and I couldn’t get them on without sticking my finger

Hello I’m updating my review because rare romance was very kind in of to reach out back to me about my earring arriving damaged. And they sent me another one which just arrived in the mail. It’s perfect and I am very happy with my earrings!

Gift for granddaughter and she loved them!

I bought this earring to be worn in my second lobe piercings, but the bar is so curved that it stretches and irritates my piercing hole. It's not a huge, issue, I wear the earring in my first hole instead, but this is something to keep in mind. Also, I'm not sure if I got a defective clasp or not but the earring is extremely hard to open and close. I cannot close the earring without pressing down hard on the bar, which makes it very difficult to get in and out. Otherwise, the earring is super cute and I love wearing it, just takes a bit longer to get in and out.

I LOVE these little spikey hoops! I was worried I wouldn’t be able to sleep in them (I hate having to take jewelry off) cuz of the spikes, but they are super comfy!

They're stylish, comfortable and have the perfect weight to them. I have the golds I'm definitely coming back for the silver colorway!
